poorrichardsnews:

Reporters in Gaza have a difficult time reporting the truth about Hamas’s disregard for civilian live. They face intense scrutiny and often put their lives in danger if they reveal how the Palestinian terror organization routinely uses human shields against Israel.

This week, the press went into a tailspin after rocket fire hit a school yard near the Al Shati refugee camp in Gaza. Naturally, most of the media bought the official story from the PLO that Israel was responsible.

Now, an Italian reporter who was in the country is revealing that he witnessed the attack, and it was Hamas’s own rockets that killed at least 10 of their own people.

from Arutz Sheva:

Verifying facts on the ground in Gaza is notoriously difficult for foreign reporters, and even for Palestinian journalists seen as aligned with the Fatah-led Palestinian Authority, as journalists are closely watched by Hamas security forces and can face interrogation and a permanent ban from Gaza for publishing material deemed unfavorable to the territory’s Islamist rulers. As such, little information has emerged on what exactly happened that day in Shati.

But returning from a stint in Gaza, and safe from what he ominously referred to as potential “Hamas retaliation”, Italian journalist Gabriele Barbati broke the media silence by tweeting the following message, confirming that Hamas terrorists rushed to cover up evidence of what was indeed errant rocket fire aimed at Israel

When is the press going to wise up and admit that a terrorist organization who hides its headquarters under a hospital and stashes its weapons in elementary schools should not be believed when it blames casualties on someone else.

Ryan Rosenblatt brilliantly summing up the absurdity of Dunga’s statements today in conclusion of his article for SB Nation (via neymarcentral)

"

So in summation: We need less of our best player [Neymar], and he needs to lay off the hair dye, and he needs to wear Brazil hats. That will change a team that lost 7-1 without him.

Dunga’s second stint with Brazil is going to go just wonderfully.

asker I hate how the SJWs automatically assume that the military's hair regulations are deliberately racist and sexist, without even thinking about how those hairstyles are probably just unfit for combat. Like no military general is gonna be like, "yes yes let's make military service hard for black women by regulating their haircuts because I hate black women MWAHAAHH"

Who talked to my *female* cousin about consent when she sexually abused me for 3 years? Who talked to a close *male* friend about safety when he was raped by his *female* counselor?

Shut the fuck up about your gender victim complex.

asker lol that was a cute anecdote. But let's look at reality here. For example, female athletes are consistently given less attention and paid less than they're male counterparts and often times sponsored in terms of how attractive they are. Athletic magazines feature the most talented male athletes along with the most beautiful females along with a few exceptional exceptions (lol that sounds weird). Women are much more likely to make it to positions of power of they're attractive because their looks

ughsocialjustice:

People don’t watch women’s sports. Want them to get more attention and higher pay? People need to watch them. Teams need to generate more revenue. By your logic people should be complaining because NBA plwers make more than NHL players? You’re not comparing the same thing.  Should people complain because the Yankees have a higher pay roll than the Royals? No, because they pull in different revenue. Also, it depends on the sport. Who gets more attention and endorsements? Female gymnasts or male gymnasts? Same with Cheerleading.

And let’s flip this around. Look at men in “traditionally” female jobs. Male secretaries and nurses get alot of shit. Male teachers have to constantly make sure NOTHING they do could be mistaken for sexual advances (same in the social services industry) because even an accusation can end their career. (just look at which gender gets more news attention- a man accused of inappropriate contact or a female charged with sleeping with a student…)

That was a cute attempt at painting women as the victims, but in the end, neither gender has it “worse”. They have it DIFFERENT. You’re trying to compare apples and oranges.

and-umar:

I hate hate hate it when women in video games make sexual noises when they get hit or die in suggestive positions

like women can’t even die in a way that doesn’t exist to turn men on

how dare you sexualise female pain

Is this serious…..

Because when male characters die it totally doesn’t sound sexualized!
